This little fox is brand new to the Ladybug Tales Collection!

Ginger wishes that she could solve the challenges around her island in her own way. When she finds a paintbrush with magical ink, all her wishes come true! She can draw anything she needs to solve a problem the way she thinks is best, but soon she finds that erasing her challenges doesn't always turn out the way she expected.

"Each one of us face a ton of unique challenges. Sometimes, I've wished for a magic wand to make everything "perfect" or for something hard to just go away. I've wanted to disappear when I'm having a panic attack, or to box up a sensory overload so I can deal with it at a more convenient time. I started The Magical Ink series to help my puzzlebugs understand that life isn't always easy, but it's theirs. I know challenges faced will bring equally unique gifts, even if it doesn't feel that way in the moment."

"Pip and Rolo was inspired by my two wonderful boys: best friends and triggers alike!

"Born in the year of the dragon, my eldest son is kind, creative, and on the spectrum. His younger brother zips around the house like a hummingbird on caffeine, always full of fun and spilling over with equal parts curiosity and energy. They struggle with opposite sensory processing extremes, and often clash in their regulation needs.

The Pip and Rolo books are split into 3 series:

SENSORY STORIES
Sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch, kinesthetic, and any other sensory stimuli (inside or out) that can effect a puzzlebug. A character may be understimulated, overstimulated, emotionally, or physically effected.
Some stories will be obvious how the characters are effected, others more subtle (because let's face it, we don't always understand what's bugging us), but all the stories are presented in a way that allows for conversation and multiple applications.
ROLO'S MOOD SCALES
Inspired by my children's occupational therapy, these stories focus on the regulation of emotional or physical reactions to stimuli and life situations. They use Rolo's mood colors to help the characters track their feelings, and encourages regulation techniques before they "explode". Rolo's scales display the colors to allow for easier conversation with your Puzzlebug.
This series starts with Rolo's Mood Colors Guidebook, which is strongly recommended to read. All other books will refer back to this guidebook, but also include a one-page review of the colors.
... AND FRIENDS
Not all puzzlebugs are the same! In our house, 2 of ours have special needs, and our 3rd does not. But this means she has unique needs that are special to her own situation!
These stories typically focus on characters outside of Pip and Rolo themselves who need a story to help with their unique challenges. This may include member requested books, new characters, or other stories that don't fit into the other two Pip and Rolo series.
