Ladybug Tales
ROLO
OUR TEAM
The books of Ladybug Tales really belong to these three amazing members of our team. The Pip and Rolo series would never have launched without them. Rolo is the mastermind behind how the characters resolve the problems they face, and oversees every page in their journey. Pip makes sure we get enough excitement crammed into the story, and Lily keeps track of everyone. If she doesn't approve of the ending, we hit the drawing board again. Literally. The struggles they face on the spectrum may have prompted the stories, but these three work together to create inspiring solutions!

Paulette Inman
THE LADYBUG
Paulette was first published with Trifecta Books as a YA fantasy author. She worked for several years as a typesetter and designer for the publishing house before putting all her skills, and her love of art, together to make picture books for her children.
"It just made sense," she said. "First, I was an artist. Then a book-binder. Then an author. Then a typesetter. Then a mother. When my boys needed help, I pulled out all my tools."
So, why ladybugs?

"You may have seen a ladybug quietly watching over Pip and Rolo during their adventures," she tells people. "That's me. I wanted my kids to know that they're never alone, even if they're dealing with something nobody understands in that moment. I'm always there."
James Inman
EVERYTHING SPANISH
If you ask Paulette, one of James's greatest strengths is the unconditional support that he gives his family. So, when she voiced an interest in making her picture books available to others (and the cost that was involved), he said, "How can I help?"

"There's a lot of families at the occupational therapy office who don't speak English," he said to Paulette one night. "I've seen the therapists struggle trying to communicate these concepts through the interpreters because they don't know Spanish." Paulette's eyes lit up. "But you do!" And from that moment, the Spanish line of the Ladybug Tales Collection was born.

James learned Spanish while living in Argentina, and has since then used it in his various lines of work and associations. And now, of course, he translates picture books for his wife.
